A Wreath Party Tradition

Every year, my mom organizes a wreath party for the family. It is one of my favorite holiday traditions. She gathers greens from a local park (there always seems to be a windstorm around this time of year and there are lots on the ground), sets up all of the decorative elements she has collected and gathers her wreath forms. While the kiddos munch on the goodies...We stuff the greens in and wrap with floral wire, then decorate. It's so fun to see everyone's different creations. Some simple, some with every spare inch filled with glorious Christmas gaudiness. Of course the best part is spending some crafty time with family.
